EMC: Environment-Mediated Communication

چکیده
Environment-mediated communication (EMC) is introduced as new concept for human-to-human communication in mobile computing. EMC denotes a style of communication, where communication partners are linked by an instance of the physical environment, with the link existing at least on a conceptual level if not physically on implementation level. Following general analysis of EMC, this paper reflects on applicability and considers two potential areas of application.
